At Shama Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS), we are dedicated to enhancing our students' educational experience through a variety of student-driven events that promote leadership, learning, and public involvement.

Our Speakups and Debate Competitions offer students valuable opportunities to articulate their viewpoints, refine their public speaking abilities, and engage in thoughtful discourse. These activities are integral to developing critical thinking and communication skills.

We also place a strong emphasis on health awareness through events such as the World Kidney Day Celebration and the World No Tobacco Day Celebration. These initiatives involve organizing public rallies to increase awareness about kidney health and the importance of tobacco cessation, reflecting our commitment to community health education.

Additionally, our Science Exhibitions provide a platform for students to present their projects and innovations, fostering scientific inquiry and creativity. These exhibitions not only showcase student achievements but also encourage intellectual curiosity.

In complement to our academic events, SIMS hosts several recreational events that celebrate various milestones and foster community spirit. The most recent being Annual Day 2023 which was attended by notable guests such as Mr. Rizwan Arshad, Member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly, and Dr. Asima Banu, Principal of BMCRI, celebrating student accomplishments and strengthening institutional bonds.

Ethnic Day and Independence Day are celebrated with vibrant activities that highlight cultural diversity and national pride, providing students with enriching experiences that contribute to their holistic development.

Through these diverse events, SIMS not only supports academic growth but also nurtures leadership skills and community engagement, preparing students for future success.
